Their total weekly spend is £146m, which is a massive £7.6b per year.

They are also online throughout the day and well into the evening but their usage changes by day-part. During the day it’s more work related and any consumer activity may be hurried and distracted, but in the evening they enjoy the opportunity to browse uninterrupted.

Again, work online activity falls sharply going into the pm commute. However the average remains high leaving a gap of other activities such as researching and buying products online to continue post the commute. They have busy and demanding careers and the evening offers them uninterrupted ‘consumer me’ researching and purchasing online.

Any advertising/communication needs to interrupt them and influence them between the work environment and the evening online research and purchasing environment.
