Understanding a city as vibrant, diverse and fast paced as London is no easy task. Over the years the Evening Standard has made a substantial investment in researching this complex and fascinating market.

The Evening Standard’s research programme is an ongoing process that evolves with the city it serves. Used to inform all areas of our business, our knowledge base also provide the media planning and buying community and our direct clients with a more insightful understanding of what our readers do and the reasoning and rationale that go into the decision making process.

One of the cornerstones of our research programme is the London Voice panel which consists of more than 5,000 Evening Standard readers and is one of the largest research projects focussing exclusively on the Capital. Panellists are currently invited to participate in approximately 12 surveys during the course of a year.

Beyond London Voice, the Evening Standard commissions a variety of research projects spanning across disciplines such as qualitative, ethnography, brand tracking and syndicated research. The Evening Standard is also a primary partner of the TNS London Media Study.
